MCP
Connect Zaogemo to your own agent
One access token lets Claude, Cursor, or another remote MCP client read and edit your cloud models, using the same field formats as the Zaogemo editor agent.
What it can do
The connected agent works on your parametric scripts, not a static mesh.
- List and read models, including the full JSCAD source.
- Create a model, or change an existing script with exact replacements.
- Follow paramSchema, named parts, and the two reserved configuration blocks.
Connect in three steps
- Sign in, open Settings → MCP, and create a token. Copy the secret immediately; it is shown only once.
- Add the remote MCP configuration below to Claude Desktop, Cursor, or another client, and put the token in Authorization.
- Ask the agent to call get_script_format before it creates or edits a model. Open the edit link it returns to preview the geometry in Zaogemo.
Client configuration
Production server URL:
https://www.zaogemo.com/mcp
For local development, use http://localhost:5181/mcp and create the token in the local settings page.

}Tools
After the client connects, it can call these tools. The write_model and edit_model prompts carry the same authoring contract.
get_script_format— Read the paramSchema, reserved blocks, and part field formats. Call this before writing source.list_models/get_model— Find models by title or id, and read one model.create_model/update_model/apply_patch— Create, replace, or patch source. Pass expected_version on updates so a newer save is not overwritten.delete_model— Delete one cloud model.
The resource zaogemo://formats/fields is the JSON schema. zaogemo://formats/guide is the same contract in prose.
Script fields
Geometry is in meters. Millimeter parameters end in Mm and are multiplied by 0.001. Import only @jscad/modeling.
defaultParams/paramSchema— Adjustable values and an optional control description. type is number, integer, string, boolean, or array. step is only the adjustment increment.configuredParams— Stored in the // <3ddesign-configuration> block. These are saved parameter overrides. Preserve the block while editing.- main returns { name, id?, group?, geom, printable? }. Split multicolor models into parts and color them with colorize.
partOverrides— Stored in the // <3ddesign-parts> block. These are user-renamed parts and groups. Preserve the block while editing.
Keep in mind
- MCP does not compile geometry or export STL. Open the edit link from the tool result to preview.
- Each account can keep 8 tokens. Only a hash is stored, and revoking a token disconnects it immediately.
- A token reaches only that account’s models. Plaza and public share links do not need one.
